GIFT EVENING
MISS K. CROZIER HONOURED. GATHERINGS AT - PUKE TE & WANGAEHU. An enjoyable evening was spent recently at “Puke Te,” Masterton, when Mrs J. McKenzie and Miss Joan McKenzie were the hostesses at a gift evening in honour of Miss Kathleen Crozier who is to be married shortly. The evening was spent in dancing and competitions. A sit down supper was served, there being about seventy guests present. Mr J. McKenzie, Junr., in asking Miss Crozier to accept the numerous gifts, wished her every happiness in her future life. Pte. K. Field replied on behalf of Miss Crozier . The residents of Wangaehu met recently at the home of Mr and Mrs J. D. Crozier, when Miss Crozier was tendered a surprise evening. Games and competitions were enjoyed. The guest of honour received many useful gifts. Mr James McGregor, on behalf of those present, wished Miss Crozier success in the future.
