CHURCH SERVICES

Thanksgiving services for the Tunisian victories will be held at all Church of England centres tomorrow. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher at St. Matthew’s and at Taueru, Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. Mr N. W. Ninnes will conduct the service at Kuripuni. The Masterton Methodist Church services tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. G. H. Goodman. A communion service will be held at 8 a.m., at 2.30 p.m. an after camp inspirational service and at 4 p.m. a choir service at the hospital. Mr C. R. Goudge will take the service at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. and Mr H. Bateup that at Mt. Bruce at 2 p.m. The Knox Presbyterian Church services tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. J. M. Simpson. At 11 a.m. his subject will be “The Soul Shipwreck of King Saul,” and at 7 p.m. “Jerry Building.” Special thanksgiving services will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel tomorrow. At 11 a.m. there will be a holiness meeting, at 2.15 p.m. a children’s service and at 7.0 p.m. a special song service. The Communion will be held during the morning service at the Baptist Church tomorrow. The evening service will be evangelistic, and the subject will be “The Door.” A friendly hour will follow. A Church of Christ service will be held in the Women's Division rooms, King Street, tomorrow, at 11 a.m. Sunday School at 10 a.m.
