ELECTION PACT
PARTIES IN SOUTH AFRICA. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) PRETORIA. May 5. The South African General Election campaign is now in full swing. General Smuts announced today the conclusion of an election pact between his United Party and the Dominion and Labour parties, which are partners in the Coalition Government. The Dominion and Labour Parties are allotted nine constituencies, and have undertaken to support Smuts candidates in all other electorates.
