Gas meters in Carrington Park which had been placed there for the use of the travelling public, have been damaged beyond repair by some hoodlums who broke into the band rotunda where the meters were kept. The damage was reported by the gas manager to the chairman of the com» mittee, and authority has been given to take the meters away and plug the main.
