In the absence of Mrs T. N. Smallwood (president), Mrs A. H. Bull acted as chairwoman.
Mrs Bull expressed the hope for a complete recovery of Mrs A.,W. Horton.

The speaker was Major Dick, of Masterton, who gave a very inspiring address on “Fathers,” their place in the home and the common bond which should exist between father and son, and also the family, to make x life worth living. Mr W. A. Tate thanked Major Dick for his talk which he was sure voiced the views of all the fathers present.
Mrs Dick gave a short resume of daily happenings at Whatman Home, and also some of the pleasing episodes which go to make up the life of the child. Mrs Bull thanked both Major and Mrs Dick for having attended the gathering and entertaining those present.
Thanks were extended to Mesdames A. Nichols and Lyford. Misses Hill and Uc'ty for preparing the room. Supper was served by the members. The accompanists were Mesdames H. Carter and H. Farley.
