Generals De Gaulle and Giraud have jointly requested the League of Nations to consider the withdrawal from it of France by the Vichy Government in 1940 as invalid, having been made under pressure when France was deprived of her sovereign rights and unable to adopt an attitude representative of the people’s desire.
