SABOTAGE IN BELGIUM
EXTENSIVE DAMAGE DONE AT COST IN GALLANT LIVES. “BALANCE SHEET” PRESENTED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, April 15. The Belgian News Agency, presenting the sabotage balance sheet for a single month of this year, states that while between 3000 and 4000 patriots had been arrested and another 100 executed, they had destroyed three locomotives, wholly or partly destroyed five railway trains and eighteen ammunition trucks, immobilised a powerhouse, carried out nine sabotage incidents in ■ coal mines and industrial works, destroyed six electrical substations and dynamited 39 electrical installations.
