The German-controlled Oslo radio station says that on Monday night a group of commando troops was landed from British torpedo-boats on an island off the west coast of Norway. The Germans indicated that there was some fighting, and that the commandos later withdrew.
About 10,000 aliens of military age now in Britain will be affected by an Order in Council which comes into operation on April 1. They are all Allied nationals who will be called to serve in the British forces (the Pioneers Corps), unless any individual has been granted a certificate of exemption by his own Government or by that date has joined his own national forces.
