COURSING CLUB
TIN HARE MEETING. On April 11 the Wairarapa tin hare championships will be held at Rugby Park. A number of other events will also be decided, including Sapling and Puppy races. It has been decided by the committee to allot trophies to all races where there are four or more entries. The committee also decided to open the cousing season on May 9, when, a Puppy Stake and an Open Stake will be contested. A working bee will be held at the Akura Plumpton on Sunday for the purpose of putting the grounds and appointments in order for the coming season. Conveyances will leave the town at 10 o’clock for Akura.
