OBITUARY
MRS M. J. HANLEY. The death occurred yesterday afternoon of Mrs Mary (Molly) Hanley, wife of Mr Michael Joseph Hanley, of 16 Sussex Street, Masterton. The late Mrs Hanley, who was in her 41st year, had been in bad health for some years. Possessed of a kindly nature she was very popular among a wide circle of friends who will hear with feelings of deep regret of her death. Born in Masterton, Mrs Hanley had resided here all her life. For some time she was employed on the staff of the Masterton Hospital. She was a daughter of Mrs T. B. Braggins and the late Mr Alex. Smith. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, a daughter, Miss Josephine Hanley, of Masterton, and a sister, Mrs L. Pearson, of Hamilton. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving St Patrick’s Church, following Requiem Mass, at 9 a.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
