FLOWER SHOW — »x— WINNERS OF TROPHIES. ("Times-Age” Special.) At the flower show held in the local Parish Hall, the best aster was exhibited by Mrs R. Cundy, Martinborough, and the chamnion dahlia by Mr S. Fletcher, Masterton. The silver challenge cup for most points in the open classes was won by Mrs G. Couper, of Carterton; the Sleeth perpetual challenge cup with trophy for the best dahlia in cottage classes, by Mrs G. Couper; the silver challenge cup and trophy in the decorative classes by Mrs W. J. Knell, Martinborough, and the Martin perpetual challenge cup with trpohy for most points obtained at the show by Mrs G. Couper. Mr S. Fletcher, of Masterton, won two first prizes and championship for dahlias, and a second prize for potatoes. The judge of the cut flowers was Mr H. L. Esau, of Masterton, and of the decorative classes by Miss K. Martin and Mrs Tilson.
