GREYTOWN
PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE PARCELS FOR SERVICEMEN. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Ladies’ Committee of the Greytown Citizens’ Patriotic Organisation yesterday dispatched a parcel to all local men in the armed forces who are serving overseas. Euchre Party and Dance. The Papawai Tribal Committee has spared no effort to make its' euchre party and dance, which will take place in the Greytown Town Hall tonight, enjoyable. The proceeds are to go to the Maori war effort and the Mgori Battalion comforts. TOWN HALL “FOUR MOTHERS.” Tomorrow night’s programme will be headed by the outstanding drama, “Four Mothers,” in which the leading roles are taken by the Lane Sisters, Gale Page and Jeffrey Lynn. The associate picture, “Federal Bullets,” describes a stern fight against gangdom.
