LONDON’S TOTAL RISING APACE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) RUGBY, March 11. London’s “Wings for Victory” total is now nearly £119,000,000. Miss Jean Batten, the famous aviator is to tour Britain to speak in the campaign. She addressed a big crowd in Trafalgar Square and told them that thousands of pilots and crews were coming to Britain from every part of the Dominions. They were leaving their homes and families to join in the fight for freedom. They were prepared to sacrifice everything “and give their all for us.” Led by Flight Lieutenant B. H. Beale, ■Wellington, four officers and 114 members ,of the R.N.Z.A.F., who recently arrived from Canada and New Zealand, formed part of a parade through London. The crowds gave them enthusiastic applause.
