ROAD FATALITIES
TEN IN NEW ZEALAND LAST MONTH. LOWEST FIGURE FOR SIX YEARS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Road fatalities in New Zealand during February were the lowest for that month for the last six years, according to figures released by the Transport Department. The number of deaths was ten, compared with twelve in February last year and 29 in February, 1939. Six of the victims last month were passengers in motor vehicles, three were drivers and one was a pedestrian.
