JAPANESE IN BURMA BY BRITISH & AMERICAN BOMBERS. BRIDGE AND BUILDINGS DAMAGED. LONDON, March 3. Allied aircraft have again struck hard at Japanese targets in Northern Burma and across the frontier in Yunnan Province. In a low-level attack, a bridge was damaged and buildings were set on fire. American aircraft destroyed enemy barracks and warehouses in the Salween area (just over the frontier from Yunnan) and set fire to other buildings and damaged motor .vehicles. Chinese ground forces .have ..driven back a Japanese attack.
