SOUNDED BV ROME RADIO OVER ANTICIPATED ALLIED INVASION* GRAVEST HOURS COMING FOR ITALIANS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, March 3. The Rome radio yesterday warned the Italian people that the Allies had chosen Italy as a landing place for an invasion of Europe. The radio said: “Our enemy is very powerful and no doubt will soon launch a very strong attack against the European mainland. The Italian people must know that their gravest hours lie ahead.”
