STILL BLAZING
FIRES LIT BY R.A.F. IN BERLIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, March 3. The Berlin radio announced that fires which were started by the R.A.F. raid on Monday night were still burning this morning. A Zurich message reports that after the raid, in which 200 persons were killed, the capital .was without water, electricity and gas. An abattoir was hit, and cattle broke out and careered through the streets. The Berlin correspondent of the •Stockholm newspaper “Allehanda,” says the German Government has decreed that Berliners must aid in the removal' of' wreckage and repair of damage to houses. Other work is being deferred in order to speed up a clearance. Large quantities of artificial glass are being rushed to Berlin to repair the thousands of windows bro.ken.
