FROM MALTA AND BRITISH .BASES. MINING WORKS BOMBED IN NORWAY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.25 p.m.) RUGBY, March 3. R.A.F. headquarters at Malta announces a fighter-bomber attack yesterday on Lampedusa Aerodrome, while last night intruders were ovei’ enemy aerodromes in Sicily, attacking enemy aircraft.as they landed. The Air Ministry states: “At daylight today Mosquitoes, one of which is missing, bombed a crushing and washing plant of mines at Knaben, in Norway, which are very important for German industry. Fighters attacked enemy transport and other ground targets in France and Holland.”
