SOLDIERS’ DANCE ‘ ENJOYABLE GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very enjoyable soldiers’ dance was held in the Town Hall on Saturday night. Mrs Ashton’s orchestra supplied the music and extras were played by Miss C. Saba and a soldier. Mr J. W. Card, chairman of the patriotic committee, spoke in reference to the patriotic appeal. The supper tables were decorated by Mrs Alexander. Personal Items. Mrs Lowell and Miss Alma Lowell have returned from Cambridge, where they attended the Lowell-Day wedding. Mr and Mrs J. Day were weekend visitors to Featherston. COSY THEATRE “REBECCA.” On Wednesday night there will be presented one of the igreatest pictures ever brought to the screen, “Rebecca,” a drama that has appealed to millions of people throughout the world. The chief roles are taken by Laurence Olivier, Joan Fontaine, George Sanders, and Judith Anderson.
