ALFREDTON EWE FAIR. Levin and Co., Ltd., report as follows on their annual Alfredton ewe fair, held on Saturday in Mrs A. M. Rutherfurd’s yards:—A yarding of 8000 breeding ewes came forward, for the most part in splendid order. There was quite a good attendance, and though bidding was not brisk, prices realised were in keeping with recent Wairarapa values. Ninety per cent of the stock was purchased by Manawatu farmers.
