The Seacliff fire inquiry commission sat finally in Dunedin yetserday, when Clarissa McLaren, matron at the hospital, recalled, stated that it would take about 10 minutes to make an ordinary round of inspection of ward 5, provided nothing unusual occurred and no patient needed attention. A two-hourly inspection would take nearly an hour. The chairman, Mr Bundle, S.M., intimated that the commission would send its report to the Governor-Gen-eral.
