ACT OF VANDALISM AT LOCAL SWIMMING BATHS., ("Times-Age” Special.) The custodian of the local baths reports that last night some person entered the baths and threw everything that was movable into the water and also smashed several seats, besides doing other damage.Personal Items. Mr W. McNamara, of Wellington, is visiting his parents, Mr and Mrs H. McNamara, Fox Street. The Misses Barker, of Wellington, are the guests of Mrs L. McKenna, Pahautea. Miss M. Talbot commenced her duties in the local telephone exchange yesterday. Miss G. Browne, Revan Street, is visiting Christchurch, where she is the guest of Mrs P. Galbraith. Mr Annan Smith, of Wellington, is a visitor to Pahautea. COSY THEATRE “UNHOLY PARTNERS.” Tonight the sensational drama dealing with the attempt by the press to clean up the racketeers, “Unholy Partners,” will be shown tonight. Edward G. Robinson gives the most brilliant performance of his screen career, and he is ably assisted by Edward Arnold, Marsha Hunt and William Torr.
