BIDWILL CUP RED STAR v AIR FORCE. CENTURY TO J. BURTON. The Red Star and Air Force senior teams commenced a match for the Bidwill Cup on the Park Oval on Saturday afternoon. The Red Star team was without the services of Marsh, Shaw, R.; Waftson, Linder, Cheavers and Wysocki, soldier members who had left the district, F. Hoar, A. Paterson, K. Rew and J. Renner. For the Air Force J. Burton played an excellent innings for 117, which included a 6 ana seventeen 4‘s. A. Bardsley (five 4’s) ana Milne (two 6’s and a 4) also batted well. Bell (seven 4’s), Trapp (a 6 and four 4’s) and' G. Peterson (three 4s) gave good displays for Red Star. Scores* — Air Force: Ist innings 233 (J. Burton 117, A. Bardsley 36. Milne 22, P.
