JAPAN FEELING EFFECT. OF SEVERE LOSSES IN PACIFIC. (By Telegraph—(Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, December 23. However Japanese air power felt the greatest strain. Japan has lost 1.500 planes in the Solomons campaign alone. Her aircraft losses are possibly greater than, her replacements, which are only twelve hundred monthly.
