AIR FORCE RELATIONS
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. SERVICES APPRECIATED. At a meeting of the Air Force Relations Committee the following members were present: Mesdames _ H. J. Lord (in the chair), R. Ayling, S. Gill, A. Harcornbe, H. Rishworth and Miss Patrick. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames J. A. Betts. G. Sellar, P. Nathan, and Miss E. Carey. It was reported that during the month Mrs R. V. Goddard, the Dominion President of Air Force Relations, paid a brief visit to Masterton. She was accompanied by Miss Morice, the Dominion honorary secretary. Some sixty Air Force Relation helpers, met Mrs Goddard at a morning tea in the Ranfurly Club rooms, and were most interested in a talk she gave on the work of the organisation throughout New Zealand. The committee, with the help of some supporters, supplied supper and service at the Anzac Club for a week in December, when big crowds were entertained. The committee wish to thank all those who have given such ready support to Air Force work during the year, and to extend the compliments of the season to them. After the meeting about a hundred tins of food suitable for sending overseas was packed. The following members are thanked for help during the month:—Mesdames R. Ayling, Anderson, Brunton, D. Vallance, K. Cruickshank, C. Hosking. Butement, Ashwell, E. Baird, Messrs Pulford. J. Smith, G. Hyde, E. Jenkins, and Messrs Dunderaale and Gray. , , 12 , Parcels of comforts, knitted garments and tinned food maybe sent to any member of the committee, or at the offices of Messrs Dunderdale and Gray, Perry Street. The panels will be packed and forwarded to Wellington on the 20th of every month.
