GALA WEEKEND

INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION EFFORT. £155 FOR PATRIOTIC FUND. The Wairarapa Interhouse Association has handed over to the Provincial Patriotic Fund a sum of £155, the greater part of the proceeds of the recent gala week-end held in Masterton. This result is considered by members to be most satisfactory. In addition to the donation to the Patriotic Fund, the Association made a contribution of £45 10s to the various girls’ teams towards the cost of uniforms, and paid £lO for the use of a hall, insurance, etc. The zone secretary of the Provincial Patriotic Committee, Mr G. T. O’Hara Smith/acknowledges receipt of £155 from the Association.
