CHRISTMAS PARTY CHILDREN ENTERTAINED, (“Times-Age” Special.) The children attending St Cuthbert’s Anglican Sunday School were given a Christmas party in the Anglican Hall on Saturday afternoon by their Superintendent, Mrs L. C. Christie, who was assisted by the teachers and pupils. A playette. “Sleeping Beauty." was very well acted by the pupils. Three carols sung by the boys and girls were much appreciated, as were items by the boys. The arrival of Father Christmas caused considerable excitement, and each child was presented with a toy. The children were entertained at afternoon lea. The accompaniments were played by Miss C. Wilson. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs Handyside are on a visit to Wellington. Mr Allen Jesson is the guest of Mr and Mrs G. Jesson, Alfredton Road. Mr and Mrs Colin Fredericksen, Wellington, are the guests of Mr and Mrs A. Fredericksen.
