GLADSTONE
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE COMPETITION WINNERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the monthly meeting of the Gladstone Women's Institute, Mrs Joblm presided over a good attendance. Mrs Brittian (secretary), who is leaving the district, was made a presentation. Mrs Wellwood was appointed secretary in her place. Mrs S. Smith gave a very interesting demonstration on bread posies, for which she was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. .. The competitions resulted: Stuffed doll, Mrs Joblin 1; flower, Mrs Joblin 1, Miss A. Bubb 2. Mrs Wyeth and her helpers served afternoon tea.
