WEDDING
MILLER—BLOMFIELD . A quiet wedding was celebrated recently at St Paul’s Church, Remuera, when Miss Norma June Blomneld, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Clyde Blomfield, of Remuera, was married to Sergeant Douglas Robert Miller, only son of Mr and Mrs J. G. Miller, of Masterton. ' The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a graceful gown of ivory georgette with a high neck line with a cameo brooch and a circular skirt. Her long Brussels lace veil fell from a coronet of orange blossom to the hem of her train. She carried a sheaf of St Joseph lilies. The bridesmaid was Miss Ngarei Blomfield, sister of the bride. Staff-Sergeant Harold Gichard, cousin bf the bridegroom, was best man. The reception was held at the home of the bride’s eldest sister, Mrs Jock Clarke, Dell Avenue, Remuera. Mrs Blomfield received the guests. Mr and Mrs Miller, who were unable to be present owing to family illness, were represented by Mr and Mrs F. Gichard, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom.
