TE WHITI
RED CROSS DANCE GATHERING ON SATURDAY NIGHT. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the Te Whiti Hall on Saturday night when a dance was held in aid of the Junior Red Cross funds. Under the direction of Mr W. Bradley as M.C. and to the swing of music by Mr Len Daysh, the proceedings went merrily, extras being contributed by Mr and Mrs Love and by Miss Norma Gundersen. The winners of a Monte Carlo waltz competition were Miss Hazel Henderson and Mr Harry Mangham. A ladies’ committee attended to the supper arrangements.
