OBITUARY

MR T. DILLON The death occurred at Masterton this morning of a well-known Tinui settler in the person of Mr Thomas Dillon. Born in the South Island in 1867, Mr Dillon came to the North Island 50 years ago and had been farming at Tinui for many years. He was one of the oldest members of the Foresters’ Lodge and was the oldest resident of Tinui. He is survived by two daughters. Mrs Dillon died some years ago. A son was killed in the last war. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the Tinui Church after a service at 2 p.m. for the Tinui Cemetery.
