KNOX CHURCH

LADIES’ GUILD MEETING. WORK OF MEMBERS APPRECIATED. The final meeting of the year .of Knox Ladies’ Social Guild was held in Mrs Gaskin’s gardens at Colombo Road, Masterton, yesterday afternoon. Mr D. Storkey presided in the absence of the president, Mrs G. W. Morice. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Morice, Traynor and D. McGregor. Mr Storkey thanked the ladies for their work in the interests of the church and wished them all the compliments of the season. Mrs C. Pickering was presented with a shoulder soray, and a spray was sent to Mrs Morice, who was absent on- account of illness. A bring and buy stall was held in aid of the Chaplains’ Fund. Mesdames Welch and Reynolds were appointed to place flowers in the church next month.
