PARCELS FOR SOLDIERS PACKED BY WOMEN'S INSTITUTE. i (“Times-Age” Special.) The members of the Women’s Institute held their monthly meeting at the residence of Mrs V. Payne. Mrs Hull presided. Seven parcels were packed for local soldiers overseas. Afternoon tea was served by the hostess, Mrs V. Payne. The knitting competition resulted: — Mrs McLean (flying jersey) 1 and 2. It was decided to hold the next meeting in February, as December and January were busy periods for members who would be assisting on farms.
