KNOX SOCIAL GUILD

BUSINESS AT MONTHLY MEETING. The Knox Ladies’ Social Guild met last week in the McLaren Room, Knox Sunday School, Mrs G. W. Moricc presiding. It was agreed that the Guild should supply the Free Tea at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms on December 6. It was reported that the Guild would make a special effort in aid of the chaplain’s fund at the Bring and Buy stall to be held at the November meeting. Mrs Gaskin, it was stated, was arranging the church flowers in October and Mrs Shearer would do so in November. , . A vocal duet was contributed by Mesdames Traynor and Snowsill and a competition was won by Miss McPhee. i Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Ractlillo, Wcsney, Shearer and Corskie.
