RESPONSE IN MASTERTON.

WEEK’S INVESTMENTS £3,100.

Investments in Masterton last week in the Second Liberty Loan, which was opened for public subscription on Monday, totalled £3,100. This sum represents the amount received by. the local banks and Post Office. The issue is of £10,000,000 cither 2J per cent stock repayable on May 15, 1948, or 3 per cent stock repayable on May 15, 1953-56. The minimum subscription is £lO. All information relative to the loan can be obtained from the trading banks or the Post Office, the telephone number for Post Office inquiries being 1787.
