STATE THEATRE
“BACHELOR MOTHER” There will be an excellent programme shown at the State Theatre tonight. “Bachelor Mother” is a picture that will make an immediate appeal to patrons by reason of its comedy and its romantic flavour. The “plot” is well thought out and there are numerous most interesting situations. There is not a dull moment in the picture which is noteworthy for the brilliance of the acting. Ginger Rogers and David Niven have the leading roles. “TOM SAWYER.” Tomorrow’s pogramme will be headed by “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” an outstanding technicolour picture starring May Robson, Ann Gillis and Walter Brennan.
