VERY COLD WEATHER MORTALITY AMONG STOCK. (“Times-Age” Special.) The weather has been exceptionally cold during the past few days. The hills are covered in snow. It is feared that there will be considerable mortality- among young stock. Flowering trees have also suffered severely. Personal Items. Mrs R. McDonald has returned from a short visit to Feilding. Mrs J. Carter, who has been in Masterton, has returned home. Mr and Mrs E. Taurau have returned from Gladstone. Mr W. Watson recently returned from a visit to relatives in the South Island.
