NAZI SPIES
CAUGHT MISUSING BEACON AT RIO. ONE SHOT AND ANOTHER i ARRESTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, August 27. The venerated “Christ the Redeemer Beacon.” at Rio de Janicro, recently developed a slight irregularity. _ Investigation revealed that Nazi spies had used the beacon for signalling to submarines. One operator was arrested and another shot.
