DENTAL CLINIC

NEW BUILDING PROPOSED AT CENTRAL SCHOOL. There is every prospect of a now dental clinic building being erected at the Masterton Central School in the near future. Mr W. R. Nicol, of Masterton, a member of the Wellington Education Board, stated today that the Building Controller had given authority for tenders to be called for the erection of the building. The structure would accommodate two dental chairs, and the clinic would serve not only the children of Central School, but East, Solway and St. Patrick’s, and St. Bride’s Convent as well. The building, which would be erected in Russell Street, would cost about £7OOO, of which onethird was to be found by local residents, and the balance by the Board. The local contribution was already in hand.
