McNamara 81, R. Saunders 80, Mrs Symons 72, J. Saba 60, J. Marshall 54. Patriotic Euchre Party. There was a large attendance at the patriotic euchre party held yesterday 1 afternoon. In the card tournament Mrs Kinsey and Mrs Lawson tied for first place. Competitions were won by Mrs Elliot and Mrs Lawson. Donations were received from Mesdames Muir, Chisholm, Stan Benton and Misses Viles and June Card. Personal Items. Mrs Roy Donald is spending a holiday at the Plirnmerton beach. Miss Joan McKenzie, Wellington, is on a visit to Featherston. Mrs Nancy Carlyon, Whakatane, is visiting Featherston. COSY THEATRE “COME LIVE WITH ME.” Hedy Lamarr, James Stewart and lan Hunter have roles in the brilliant comedy, “Come Live With Me,” to be shown at the Cosy Theatre tomorrow night, which suit their particular talents, and should provide patrons with refreshing entertainment.
