Following on representations already made, the board agreed to ask the University Senate to make provision for the possibility of holding the examimy tions next year earlier than usual, in order to release pupils for urgent farm Work.

Motions of sympathy were passed with Mr and Mrs S. V. Playsted. in the loss of their son and with the secretary. Mr H. M. Boddington, in the loss of his sister, Miss M. Boddington. Mr T. Hanley was appointed convenor of the farm committee.
