SOLDIERS ENTERTAINED
GATHERING AT Y.M.C.A. ROOMS. The YM.C.A. Rooms proved very popular with men of the forces yesterday, between 200 and 300 visiting the building during the day. In the evening the men were entertained ac a free tea by the stall of Messrs I. Borthwick & Sons, Ltd. . Mr A. Corskie presided and introduced the hosts and hostesses and on behalf of the Y.M.C.A. Board of Directors, Mr H. R. Kellie welcomed the men. , • After tea, the time was spent m the singing of hymns from the Y.M.C.A. hymn book and in community singing A series of pictures was screened, and Mrs Moss and Mr R. Gilbert contributed vocal solos. Miss Mollie Iveson and her party also entertained. Miss Grieg played the accompaniments for the hymns and Mr Miller Hope those for the soloists.
