. SERVICE CLUB SUCCESSFUL EUCHRE PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The euchre party held in the Service Club on Tuesday night was very successful, there being a good attendance of players. Mrs Watson won the first prize and Mrs Elder the second. The mystery envelope was won by Mr Cassidy. GOLF STABLEFORD COMPETITION. The lady members of the golf club played a stableford competition on the Gumgrove links yesterday afternoon, the results being: Mrs Lovegrove 1, Mrs Elbe 2, Mrs R. Donald 3. In the championship Mrs Elbe defeated Mrs Batchelor and Mrs R. Donald defeated Mrs Pope. Personal. Corp. S. Morris, who is spending his leave at Pahautea, is the guest of Mr and Mrs Warrington. COSY THEATRE "SEVEN SINNERS.” Tomorrow night there will be a double programme. The chief presentation, “Seven Sinners,” is full of thrills, with Marlene Dietrich and John Wayne in the leading roles. The associate picture, "Playmates,” will provide plenty of laughs for the audience, especially as Kay Kyser and Patsy Kelly are at their best.
