VITAL STATISTICS FIGURES FOR JULY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The vital statistics for Greytown for July are: Birth 3, marriages nil, deaths 5. Rainfall Record. In July there were 20 wet days, the rainfall being 757 points. Paddy’s Market. The Paddy’s Market which is to be held on Friday promises to be a decided success. Greytown and district is out to obtain its quota for the Patriotic appeal. The Home Guard, E.P.S., Red Cross and transport units together with the Morison’s Bush, Battersea and Ahikouka War Services Association, are all taking part in this worthy effort. TOWN HALL DOUBLE PROGRAMME. There will be a double programme presented at the Town Hall tomorrow night. “International Lady” is a thrillpacked drama dealing with an international spy gang, and in which Ilona Massey, George Brenti and Basil Rathbone have the leading roles. The other picture, “Remedy for Riches/’ is an excellent drama in which Jean Hersholt takes the part of Dr. Christian.
