MASTERTON BATTALION.

PARADES & OTHER ACTIVITIES.

Routine orders for the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard, issued by Major A. L, Hibbs, are:— Parades: A, B and C Coys.: As arranged by company commanders. Thursday, August 6, at 7.0 p.m.: Signals Platoon, Central School; Medical Platoon, Methodist Hall; Pioneers Platoon, Farmers’ Union room, Perry Street; M.M.G. Platoon, Mokatoa Hall; Mortar Platoon, rear Soldiers’ Club; Petrol Guards, a muster parade at Wagg’s Garage. All members of the town units who were not on parade on July 30, are asked to report at battalion headquarters tp ascertain to which platoon they are posted. A company commanders’ conference will be held at battalion headquarters on August 11, at 7.0 p.m. Marched in: Manene, H. 8., to Tinui Platoon; How, C. V., from Sanson to Tinui Platoon; Quale, A. D. and Bell, T„ to Medical Platoon; Norman, P. T.. to M.M.G. Platoon; Clayton, D., to Te Ore Ore Platoon. Marched in from C.D.S.I. to rejoin their Platoons: Corporals N. C. McKay, Te Tau, and A. H. Ward. Transfer: Transferred to Battalion Pool: Corporal R. Mackie and Guardsman P. Nathan. Marched out: Guardsman H. Carson. To Medical course, Trentham: S/M. A. Parsons.
