REGENT THEATRE
“ADAM HAD FOUR SONS.” A gripping drama, cleverly conceived and brilliantly acted, the picture, “Adam Had Four Sons,” which will be shown tonight is one of the best seen at the Regent Theatre for some time. The acting of demure Ingrid Bergman should delight picturegoers, and it will remain among the few fine pictures that will always be fresh. Playing opposite Bergman is Warner Baxter, who portrays a somewhat difficult part with conspicuous ability. The picture contrasts the methods of women to get their men, and it also offers a vivid contrast of the manner in which men of different natures react to the tactics adopted in this age-old game. The other featured players are Susan Hayward, Fay Wray, and Robert Shaw.
