REPORTED ESCAPES

O, THREE MELBOURNE WOMEN. ALLEGED ATTACKS BY LEONSKI. (Special Australian Correspondent.) (Received This Day, 1 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Before the first of Melbourne’s three brown-out murders, three other women had narrowly escaped attacks by Leonski, the United States soldier now under death sentence. None of the women gave evidence at the courtmartial, but two of them identified Leonski, in a camp line-up, as the man who attacked them. Leonski is still under guard by American soldiers at the city watch house.
