Another enjoyable euchre tourney was held in the Red Cross Rooms yesterday afternoon, the proceeds from which will be devoted to the patriotic funds. The winners at cards were Miss Card and Mrs Rasmussen. Competitions were won by Mrs Cuff and Mrs White.' Donations were received from Mesdames White and Cuff. Fellowship of Youth. The Fellowship of Youth spent a happy time in the Parish Hall last evening. After a discussion on matters relating to the Fellowship, games and competitions were held. Wairarapa Racing Club. The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Racing Club will be held in the club’s buildings, Featherston, on Thursday, August 27, at 2 p.m. COSY THEATRE ‘‘THAT NIGHT IN RIO.” Tomorrow night’s programme will be headed by the brilliant musical comedy. “That Night in Rio,” featuring Don Ameche, Alice Faye, and Carmen Miranda.
