CHURCH SERVICES

The services at the Masterton Methodist Church on Sunday will be conducted by the Rev. Knowles Smith, of Greytown, at 11 a.m., and by Major Dick, of the Whatman Home, at 4 p.m. Mi - Knowles Smith will preach at Kuripuni at 4 p.m. and the service at Mt. Bruce will be taken by Pte. Frank Woodfield. There will be a choral service at the Public Hospital at 3 p.m. In the Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday evening a memorial service to the late Mrs Trudgeon will be conducted by Major Ransom. The Rev. H. Taepa will preach at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 11*a.m. and the Rt. Rev. the Bishop of Wellington at 4 p.m. The Rev. I. C. Edwards will conduct the service at Kuripuni at 4 p.m. The usual services will be hold at Taueru, Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. The morning service at the Masterton Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by Mr Geo. Masters, assisted by an ex-Bible Class soldier quartette. The afternoon service at 4 p.m. will be conducted by Mr G. W. Morice. At both services special retiring collections will be taken up.
