THE MARS FLYING-BOAT. FIRST OFFICIAL FLIGHT TO BRITAIN. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Byieeg LONDON, July 13. The world’s largest flying-boat, the Glen-Martin Mars, the giant plane of the United States Navy, has arrived in Britain on its first official flight. The Mars has no need to refuel for the return flight, as its range enables it to fly to Europe and back non-stop. The'space in the hull of the flyingboat is"equivalent to a 16-roomed house capable of carrying 150 fully-armed men and a crew of 11, who are able to walk in the centre portion of the wings.
